Sandra Lanier is a Certified Protection Professional, CPP, Board She has acted as a consultant to many Fortune 500 companies to develop and implement workplace violence policies and procedures. She has worked as a security consultant and trainer for the FCC, General Motors, Texaco, Shell, OSHA and the National Safety Council. Ms. Lanier is the author of the book "Workplace Violence: Before, During and After". This book is the number two best selling in the American Society of Industrial Security’s resource directory. The following review of her book was completed by the American Society of Industrial Security and published in Security Management Magazine.
At the present time, Lanier Security Group Inc. (LSG) is performing work for the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). LSG, along with our strategic partner, JPS, have performed work for Department of Commerce, the Federal Aviation Administration, the Internal Revenue Service, the Department of State, Texaco Oil Company, Shell Oil Company, Chevron Oil Company, General Motors and Plantation Pipe Line Company. Within the past few years, JPS has also completed projects for the Department of Defense Dependent Schools, the Department of the Army, and the Department of Labor. Mitch Lanier recently joined LSG in 2008 after retiring from his position as a corporate fraud investigator for Shell Oil Company. Prior to beginning a career with Shell Oil, he spent many years as a special agent/criminal investigator with the Department of the Army’s Criminal Investigation Division (CID), where he gained substantial experience investigating all types of felony crime, with specialized experience in the area of fraud related crimes. Mitch is a Certified Protection Professional (CPP) as well as a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE).
